Hi, I’m contacting you because I want to make a homebrew tribute USB. I’m collecting as many content creators as possible. I also want to include a profile for each one, with a few details, such as their logo, avatar, name, work completed, projects, etc., so you can see who’s behind their creations.

That profile, along with any material you allow me to upload, will be placed on a USB drive. This will act as a database of creators and their creations, and will be updated as I connect with new people.

The USB I’m thinking of creating will be one of those rubber-type USBs, shaped like a Spectrum computer, something that looks really nice. The idea is that those who contribute material, and if they want to buy one or more, will get it at cost price, and those who just want to buy one, it will cost a little more.

The idea is that if enough are sold, enough to recover the initial investment, the profits that the rest of the USBs could generate will be distributed among the people who have contributed material to the project, via transfer, PayPal, or however possible, even if possible, that the USB will be free. Obviously, you can buy more than one, but only one of them can be free.

It’s not necessary or mandatory to buy the USB, only if you like it or want it.

If you’re interested in this project, you can contact me at this email, flopping@gmail.com. If you have any questions or concerns, let me know and I’ll answer them. Do you think the idea is a good one? Would you like to participate in the project? Let me know. Best regards.

Juan.

Hey,

Purchased AntEater after Thomas TJ Ferreria suggested it as his Game o' the week over on his Sinclair Society Facebook page.

Never played this before on any format. Very addictive game and your version is very smooth indeed. As with most games I have not gotten far (Hill 2) but it has that one more go factor. Now back for one more go.......

Cheers

Good Luck.

The earlier stages have been tweaked now to give a little more time between bugs appearing. It may help!  Glad you enjoy it, thanks.

Great version of this classic arcade game. I've always loved this one, and consider myself kind of good at the arcade version. This version is actually harder if you ask me, but that's never bad :-)

I've advertised for it on two different Highscore sites by entering the game into their databases, and uploaded a score for the game. Will probably give you guys a little more traffic :-)

Here is me playing your excellent game :-)

Feel free to use video as promotional demonstration video if you guys want to :-)

Fantastic, thank you!  Glad you're enjoying the game.

I had this game on my Commodore Vic20, my first home computer, and I love it. I am so happy that I can now play it also on my ZX Spectrum (I got it some years after the VIC)! I played it on the FUSE emulator and I felt the same old school atmosphere, both in graphics, colors, music and sound effects. Now I really want to try it on my true rubber keys Spectrum, and then I'll let you know more!

Really pleased you like it, thank you!

Yes, it's wonderful! So far I reached Hill 4, the game has lots of details from the arcade version, it's a must to have for the classic old school games fans!
